Sensor Readout

Funktion

The Sensor Readout board was designed to amplify and filter the signal from different seismometers and accelerometers.

It has two inputs to be able to work with differential signals from two bnc cables.

Schaltungsprinzip

The board is equipted with two amplifier stages and two filter stages.

After combining the differential signals there is the first amplifying stage. It can be chosen between amplifications between 0.1 and 1000.

Then there are the two filter stages. These are realised on a additional small pcb. The filter board is designed to be used as a high or low pass filter of second order in a Sallan-Key configuration.

After the filters we have a last amplification stage like the first one.

In the end there is a lowpass fliter to match the Nyquist frequency to a ADC.
